Tons of Texture

One of the best ways to make an all-white cake interesting is to add texture. It keeps it feeling classic and traditional, but it's anything but boring. Whether the pattern is perfectly symmetrical or imperfectly messy, it really brings interest to a cake like nothing else. Since so many textures are inspired by fabric, it's also a great way to bring in details from the wedding dress.
