Thanksgiving Yummies

If you haven't already, TODAY is the day to figure out exactly what you're making for Thanksgiving! Vintage? Modern? The lines are blurring. All I know is the color combo of the moment is mint & gold. Add in some shade of pale pink and you've got the perfect palette for a whimsical wedding with a vintagey-modern feel. Painted Cakes

All cakes are works of art. Each tier is a canvas, and the cake artist gets to create a one-of-a-kind creation that will only be enjoyed for a few delicious hours. But there's a way to make cakes into even more of a literal canvas and into a hand-painted, 3D, edible masterpiece. Peyton's second birthday party

Peyton recently turned 2 and we had her party at our favorite park!  We weren't prepared for the 50mph winds that day!  It was so windy, we couldn't put up half the decorations we made/bought!
We had to tie up the balloons instead of having them as the centerpiece at each table.  The kids didn't mind!

These cookie party favors were supposed to be stuck in the buckets of sand.  That didn't work since the sand was pelting all of us.

These oreo pops were supposed to be stuck in cute styrofoam that we decorated.  They kept blowing over.

My mom spend a long time working on decorations, down to the water bottles!
